Bio

I have 20+ years experience in the advertising and design industries in both Canada and the UK, encompassing graphic design, brand design, web design, animation, Flash design & coding, and art direction. I’ve been working as an illustrator since 2010.

My background in these other disciplines puts me in a unique position in contrast to most illustrators: I have a thorough understanding of how the agency-side creative process works. With this comes a healthy respect for timelines and consistent communication.

I work predominantly in vector art, which allows the artwork to be scaled up infinitely, and is universally accepted by printers, animators, and all manners of publishers and producers. Also, I just like it. Most of the time I’ll do a rough sketch on paper, then move to vectors as soon as possible so that the work is editable from an early stage.

My number one goal is to put smiles on faces.
